# Verified experts



Administrators can mark a user as a Verified Expert for a specific skill.

Verified experts:

-   Are displayed at the top of the expert list on the skill page
-   Gain increased visibility for their content related to that skill (e.g., discussions, projects, ideas)
-   Are recognized as trusted internal experts within the organization

Verification is not based on automated scoring, but on administrative discretion. Its purpose is to make trusted expertise easier to find and to strengthen visibility of key competencies within the organization.
