# Reports and analytics

> Skillhive provides reporting and analytics tools to support competency management, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.

## 1\. Platform Usage Statistics (Admin)

Administrators have access to platform analytics via the admin view.

Usage statistics include:

-   Daily user counts
-   Active users
-   Activity volume
-   Number of skill assessments
-   Number of created swarms (e.g., discussions, projects, trainings)
-   Number of comments
-   Number of recommendations

These metrics provide an overview of platform engagement and activity levels.

## 2\. Administrator Reports

Administrators can download comprehensive tabular reports of system data.

Reports are available in CSV format for further analysis.

A preview view is available before downloading the full report.

Report scope depends on user role and permissions.

## 3\. Manager Reports

Managers can download reports related to their direct reports.

Reports are available via:

**My Team view**

Manager-level reports may include:

-   Profile information
-   Skill assessments
-   Goals
-   Task completion status
-   Training data

Reports are downloadable in CSV format.

## 4\. Competency Visualization

Skill and interest data can be analyzed using a visual quadrant tool.

The visualization uses:

-   X-axis = Interest level
-   Y-axis = Skill level

Each skill appears as a bubble:

-   Bubble size = number of users
-   Bubble position = average skill & interest level

Clicking a bubble shows:

-   Distribution of individual assessments
-   User positioning within the quadrant

The visualization tool is available:

-   On the **Experts page → Charts**
-   On each swarm’s **Charts tab**

## 5\. Access Rights

Skill search and visualization are available to:

-   Regular users
-   Administrators

Not available to:

-   EXT and EXT+ users

## What Analytics Does NOT Do

Skillhive analytics is designed to support learning and competence management — not surveillance.

The following information is never shown in manager or administrator reports:

❌ Full discussion threads or detailed discussion content

❌ Content from restricted swarms without proper access rights

❌ Behavioral or browsing activity tracking

Skillhive does not provide:

🚫 Individual productivity scoring

🚫 Automated employee ranking

🚫 Hidden monitoring mechanis
