# Lost password

> What should I do if I forget my password?

### AD / Entra ID Login

If you log in using AD or Entra ID:

-   You do not have a separate Skillhive password
-   Password management is handled in your organization’s identity system

### Skillhive Username & Password

If you use a Skillhive-specific login and have forgotten your password, you can reset it.

### Resetting Your Password

1.  On the login page, click:
2.  **“Forgot your password? Click here to reset it.”**
3.  Enter your username (email address).
4.  You will receive an email with a password reset link.
5.  (If you do not see the email, check your spam folder.)
6.  Follow the link to create a new password.

### Changing Password While Logged In

You can also change your password via:

**Settings → Change Password**

## Creating a Strong Password

Follow national cybersecurity guidance (e.g., Finnish Cyber Security Centre) for strong password practices:

-   Use long and unique passwords
-   Avoid reusing passwords across services
-   Consider using a password manager
